RTSH, the albanian Radio Television Company, announced the names of all participants of the 50th Festival I Kenges. This contest is strictly combined with Eurovision Song Contest as from 2004, as the winner of the contest represents Albania in Eurovision.

Among the participants of this years edition, we see the representative of Albania in 2007, Frederik Ndoci and the almost inevitable presence of Mariza Ikonomi.Media in Albania mention Mariza to be the most likely to win the festival, which due to the 50 years of existance , it will last 4 days instead of 3. The National Presellection procedure is scheduled to take place in Tirana during the Christmas period and mr. Shpetim Saraci will be the director.
